Ashengate North – First Kills

So last Wednesday we entered Ashengate North. First Attempt killed Dyn`Leth`s Army, moved onto the Shade of Veldyn – dead first attempt. Welcome to Ashengate Kids! We TLed out and spent our next raid day (Thursday) in Frostcrypt. Sunday started out in Ashengate again with a quick killing of Stitch and then moving onto Ashengate North. Still having a lockout for Dyn`Leth`s Army we moved to the Shade of Veldyn which died again (big shock). Then we looked at Lethar 1.0, he didn’t look back at us for too long. Dead first attempt. Then we moved onto Dyn`Leth himself. Same deal. We came. We saw. We looted.

First Attempts = First Kills. Sadly we couldn’t go for the flawless record in Ashengate North, Lethar 2.0 didn’t die first attempt (insert sadface)

Ashengate North *shocked face*

So this week has been pretty good overall. The highlights would definatly be getting x3 First Kills (Dyn`Leth’s Army, Veldyn’s Shade and Stitch) as well as back into our Beltron farm mode (he’d been ignored to focus on Stitch/Sothgar). Wednesday night after raids was pretty awesome too.. but we’ll get to that.

So yeah! We beat something in Ashengate North! Wow! Amazing! Seriously what in the F*#K (I’ve found religeon and I’m not swearing anymore — true story) kind of event is that?

Then after Dyn`Leth`s Army we moved to Shade of Veldyn. Let me just explain what that event was like.

Chubz tells raid: Ok we called AE TL, 40 of us still here lets say hi to him.
Chubz tells raid: Directional AEs, stay on its ass. Everyone clump up.
Chubz tells raid: Questions beautiful! Take 5 min rebuff and get discs up
– Chubz runs to frantically clean – GF coming over –
– 8 minutes later –
Chubz tells raid: Ok 2 minutes!
– 5 minutes later, my 2 minutes are like 5-10 –
Chubz tells raid: Charge!
Zilkorrn tanking – lala hes soooo awesome and dreamy *drools*
– Chubz turns attack on and goes to clean some more –
– Chubz comes back to PC dead from riposte! Grrrr!!! –
Zilkorrn still tanking – lala
Shade of Veldyn is dead.

True story

The loot was pretty decent overall from both events, especially considering the effort needed to win.

Qadain won the roll for the Flowing Magma Soulstone, so I defaced him (it seemed like the nice thing to do).

I’d also just like to add..

Stitch – First Kill

It’s 2:40 A.M. and I dont have alot to write on the subject. Stitch is dead, Ashengate North is in sight and wont bring about any expected difficulties.

The Stitch event is very interesting, with high DPS requirements, strong kiting, tanking and healing. It was certainly due to our Necro’s that we were able to push through and finish it.

Of course in the process of learning and working on Stitch we realized that because we are two different and unique guilds we would be unable to do the style of raiding that many superior guilds (like Conviction) are able to do.

Ziffle and I were able to get some time away from our raiding schedule to take a little candid shot.

Recruitment

We’re looking to add another 5 people to our roster, our primary focus is an Enchanter, 2 DPS Classes, 1 Plate and a Healer (Cleric/Druid/Shaman).

Current needs are 500+ AA and Level 75 (Obvliously). We’ll be raiding Ashengate North quite soon and should finish that up relativly quickly.
