Overlord Mata Muram

It’s been a long time since we invested some time into working on Overlord Mata Muram (OMM). We’re not too fond of leaving gaps in the progression chain so we decided to go and see what all the fuss was about. Having never put in any serious effort into the event we went in with only a basic idea as to what was going to go on.

Anguish start to finish took a little under three hours. That includes the pre-fight plan, groups for OMM and all of the other targets in Anguish. Simply put Anguish is quite the pushover at this stage in the game. It’s similar to what the Sullon Zek encounter has become. It’s pre-TSS version is nothing like the farm fest that it is now. Failing to contain virus doesnt mean anything anymore, just means you can AFK for 40 seconds.

After the first attempt at OMM we got some interesting screenshots..

Vergalid’s End – Completed – Server First

Well with the first kill of Nurtha Frazzleprocket (here after known as the Gnome event) we decided it would be rather interesting to explore further into Vergalid’s End. The next boss (#2 of the zone) we encountered was Goru Ulderock, the Reincarnate. Flagged as undead with alot of undead mob’s that protected him he just didnt really last all that long..

A very nice view could be seen once Goru had been defeated. A screenshot doesnt quite give the room (based on particles) justice but it’s a basic idea.

After a very lengthy clear we found ourselves in a massive room with crystals, mushrooms, and one hell of a large undead dragon. An interesting model, just a little bit of a size comparison it’s Vergalid vs. Zilkorrn.

Wasn’t a very difficult encounter overall. Certainly easier then the initial event (Gnome). Vergalid’s End defeated as a server first for Dol Amroth and Echoes in Eternity.

Ashengate, lets dance.

Nurtha Frazzleprocket (Version 2.0) – Server First (Again)

Things have been quiet for the last few weeks over in DA/EiE land. After the three first kills in a night (Vertigo, Unwelcome Guests and A Ro) our gaze of focus shifted to the new expansion. Although this mob was defeated by us awhile back the fact is that today they’re two different events.

The event we defeated (5th-6th serverwide) was nothing like the current form. With one of the three machines hitting for around 12k with a 15k AE Rampage your margin of error doesnt exist. The hardest event of Vergalid’s End is defeated, I expect Goru Uldrock to die tommorow and Vergalid within two weeks time. Congrats to all those that participated in the kill.

Corpse Shot..
