Recruitment – OPEN

Recruitment is open for all classes for a limited amount of time. We’re making our final push out of Anguish and Demiplane of Blood and going hard into The Serpent’s Spine. We’ve started working on both sides of TSS progression (Ashengate and Frostcrypt) and are looking to bolster our roster. We’ve got Anguish gear going to Alts, DoN gear and Last Blood gear constantly rotting. Does that mean we’re looking for loot whores? No, but if you want to improve your character, if you want to be the BEST, then Dol Amroth is the first and last place you should look for a guild.

Don’t waste your time and mine if you are not serious about seeing the end game of EverQuest. Our goal is to finish in the top 15 serverwide in TSS (we finished 20th in PoR). We want you to join us in that quest.

Recruitment is open for all classes, we’re looking for Clerics (2-3), 1 Warrior and 1 Enchanter primarily though.

PoR completed

PoR defeated. Deathknell took a total of 4 days (21 attempts). Left feeling sort of let down from the whole thing, but there were definatly some great fights along the way (Sullon Zek, Ghost and Daosheen). Overall I thought the expansion was tuned perfectly although the new increase to level 75 has made it all rather trivial. Sullon Zek is completly trivial, and not to ruin it for you guilds coming up to it — but it’s a freaking joke of an encounter now. Deathknell isnt much different, although it’s a definate bonus for guilds that are lacking in DPS and are more tuned to being defensive based (like us).

But anyways.. it was overall a good day.

DK #1

We here at Dol Amroth have never been very good at creating original strats. Since the dawn of time we’ve been stealing them from superior guilds with superior players. It all started on Rodcet Nife where without Ascent (now disbanded) we’d certainly be lost. But times change, and new methods must be created to ensure that Dol Amroth remains on the cutting edge. What is this new method you might ask. Why of course it’s eBay (because you can find everything on eBay).

Let me tell you I found some very interesting results! But I wasnt looking for just any strat, I was looking for the best! In order to be the best I needed it to have the following characteristics:

1. Show why the Paladin class is over powered and deserves a massive nerf.
2. Show obvious reasons why Paladins should just be deleted to save SoE time.
3. Have detailed information about the most basic concepts simply to lengthen the book.
4. Be written by the best warrior to ever exist.

Well thank GOD I found what I was looking for!

Detailed inside is a complete map which allowed Dol Amroth and Echoes in Eternity to defeat DK#1 with minimal effort. Maybe it’s the fact that we can kill Redfang, maybe it’s the fact that we gave our tanks 2-3 weeks to get tanking AAs which make old content gimp (dont even ask about Thursdays Sullon Zek kill), or MAYBE it was Frodlin’s Book which has been a huge assest.

Now the only problem is to find a book on Vertigo. Stay tuned gentle viewers.
