Guilds Rise and Fall.

Tonight saw the end of one of the long time premier raiding guilds on the Quellious server, Vis Maior. It is unfortunate when any guild falls, but it is in fact the nature of the game. Although many guilds may laugh, and even smile at the parting of Vis Maior it will without a doubt leave a void within the server. Vis Maior dominated Quellious up until Depths of Darkhollow and no one can ever take that away from them. With their passing a large chapter in Quellious history closes as well.

To the Vis Maior members and leadership it was an honor to stand beside you, although it was in rare situations. In the few encounters we had you always showed class. I expect many of you to leave the server for fresh starts and I wish you all the best of luck in your endeavors. Just remember us over on Quellious, remember your home from time to time. We’ll keep fighting for you.

Chaotic Presence wants YOU! We’re looking to add some DPS team. With the power of our Quad-threat (Tempir, Puddan, Thugrak and Thumpinya) of Berserkers (seriously we have 4 Berserkers can any guild top that?) we need to add some Rogues so the Berserkers dont dominate the parses. That means we’re accepting applications from the FOLLOWING:

Rogue 8k+ HPs, 500+ AA
Necromancer 600+ AA
Ranger 12k+ HPs, 600+ AA

Demiplane Tier 1 Completed

Just a little bit about the “Alliance”. In the recent months we’ve seen alot of changes happening within the guild(s). Between the transfering of leadership in both guilds, and the extra work that everyone has been putting into getting this Alliance into its top raiding form. We’ve pushed our members harder, longer and made them go faster then they’ve ever done before. Anguish clears taking just under 2 hours, our Tacvi clearing under 2 hours as well (but if you’re not done in 2 hours in Tacvi somethings wrong .. seriously). Its all about the twink power in Tacvi .. but now onto what this news update is really about!

Things have been pretty quiet over in DA/EiE land for a little while but tonight we made some noise. With three of the four mobs down in Tier1 of Demiplane of Blood DA/EiE was really moving along its way into the upper end game of EverQuest, but it was that fourth mob that really gave us problems. We’d been working on him for awhile and then came the sudden changes to Demiplane of Blood.

Overall Redfang is really an interesting fight. With each fight they have certain issues that can pop up, but most of the time they’re controllable, maybe we’re missing something on this fight that makes it super easy .. but its a tough fight. I can see us wiping on this fight if we dont execute in 3-4 months from now, it’s just that unforgiving. Last night we were crusing along around 10% and we either slipped, or Redfang just really ate his Wheaties that round but the end result was a guild lobby. Pathing changes on the adds, and pathing changes on Redfang really forced us to take another look at our plan of attack long after we’d polished our strat into a working form.

I was getting ready for bed one night when my bat phone went off. Mr. Bush needed some help! A little tid-bit of the conversation is below:

Mr. Bush: We’ve got a mess over on Quellious Batman! The crown has been taken!
Batman: OMGz we’ve lost the crown!!?one one

We suited up into our super shiney armor that showed off the size of our genitals and the size of our boobs (Go CP we love you!). Seriously look at DA’s size compared to EiE’s! We ownzorz them! (too bad we seriously suck at rolling and winning the uber loot QQ)

DA/EiE made a promise to Mr. Bush to get back the crown that we’d held so rightfully in the past! Redfang put up a good fight .. but in the end he just wasnt ready for dynamic trio power! In the end we found that it fit best on a polar bear:
